Adopting a plant-based diet can be tricky, especially in the beginning. You may find yourself looking through a pantry full of snacks you used to love and thinking, “What on EARTH am I going to eat??” But perhaps one of the best ways to go about it is instead of focusing on what you can’t have, think of all the wonderful things you still can! Here are 10 popular (and delicious) snacks that you don’t have to scrap when going vegan.

1. OREOS

Okay, this had to be the best news I could have ever received when I first went vegan. I could still eat Oreos and not just the original, but ALL of the flavors. That includes Birthday Cake, Cinnamon Roll, Golden, Peanut Butter, Lemon, Blueberry Pie, Coconut, Red Velvet, Chocolate Hazelnut, Mint and so many more! The downside to this would be that Oreos contain palm oil, which from both an environmental and health standpoint, is definitely not the best. But it is still worth knowing they’re free from animal products. We’ll let you be the judge.

2. LÄRABAR FRUIT & NUT FOOD BARS

These bars come in over 10 delicious flavors such as Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Coconut Chew, Lemon Bar, Blueberry Muffin, Chocolate Chip Brownie and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. They are also non-GMO and gluten free!
