The world’s African lion population has dropped by 40 percent in the last three decades. It’s a shocking reality, and largely due to human causes. If this trend continues, there may soon be no lions left in the wild.
But the story doesn’t end here. You CAN help!
Here’s what you can do to make the world a better place for lions.
- Adopt a lion. By adopting a lion, you’ll be making a monthly contribution which will fund the organization’s projects to protect lions and reduce human-lion conflict. Plus, you’ll be receiving regular updates on how your money is helping – and a cuddly toy to love forever!
- Donate money to the cause. If you can’t commit to a monthly one, a one-off donation helps these majestic wild cats too!
- Finally, and most importantly – spread the word! Sharing facts, stats and personal thoughts about the issue helps bring it to people’s attention. The more people know about how vulnerable lions are, the higher the chances of them taking action.
