Due to the increasing demand for plant-based protein, the Canadian Government is set to invest $150 million in the plant-based food sector.
This means the plant-based food market will continue expanding, and (hopefully) there will be plenty new, exciting, and delicious plant-based foods entering the market!

With fast-food restaurants offering more and more vegan options, 2019 will be the year vegan food goes mainstream.

Vegan “fish,” anyone? Yep, that’s also predicted to be on the rise.
According to PETA, vegan seafood is set to be one of the biggest trends of 2019, with products like Gardein’s Fishless Filets, Ocean Hugger Foods fish-free sushi, and New Wave Foods’ plant-based shrimp! We can’t wait!
