“Twix” Vegan Smoothie

Serves 1-2

Cookie Base

  • ¼ cup date paste
  • 3 tbsp coconut/almond flour

Caramel Smoothie

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tsp maca (or chocolate maca)
  • ¾ cup plant milk of choice
  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate topping

  • 1 tbsp chocolate sauce
  1. Mix the base ingredients together in a small bowl. Press into the base of a serving jar.
  2. Blend all of the smoothie ingredients together, then layer the smoothie on top of the base
  3. Garnish with the chocolate sauce and enjoy as breakfast, or divide the mixture in two for a great snack!
