Do you like to jog? Do you care about the current state of our planet and want to make a difference? If so, plogging might just be the activity for you! Plogging, an exercise trend combining jogging and picking up trash, is gaining major popularity around the globe, and for all the right reasons. Originating in Sweden in 2016, this trend is spreading like wildfire this year as more and more people are becoming aware of the sad state of our planet.

If you are someone who goes jogging regularly and sees trash along your route, this trend is great because now you have an excuse to do something about it (if you felt you needed one in the first place)! Even if you’re not a runner, this is a super simple activity, and you can absolutely take it at whatever speed you choose.  All you need are your workout shoes, a garbage bag or two, and gloves, and you’re ready to plog. Invite some friends — the more the merrier (and the bigger the impact)! Join in on the movement and help clean up our earth. It’s in all of our hands.
