Avocado Toast 3 Ways

Lemon Sesame Twist

Ingredients:
  • 1 slice of sourdough bread (or other bread of choice)
  • ½ an avocado sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • Pinch of chilli flakes
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • Zest of one lemon
Method:
  1. Mix the lemon zest, sesame, chilli, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Toast the bread and add olive oil.
  3. Top with avocado and sesame mix to garnish.

Tomato Basil Duo

Ingredients:
  • 1 slice of sourdough bread (or other bread of choice)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ an avocado
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • Basil leaves to garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
  1. Toast the bread and spread with olive oil.
  2. Mash the avocado and spread on top of the bread. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  3. Add the tomato and basil leaves.

Lemon Hummus and Cucumber

Ingredients:
  • 1 slice of sourdough bread (or other bread of choice)
  • 1 tbsp hummus
  • ½ an avocado mashed
  • Cucumber slices
  • Sesame seeds to garnish
  • Salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste
Method:
  1. Toast the bread and spread with hummus and mashed avocado. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice, adjusting to taste.
  2. Top with Cucumber slices and sesame seeds for a fresh taste!
