Being vegan takes serious dedication. In a world where animal consumption is the norm, living plant-based can be hard.

Fortunately, the power of the internet makes vegan-living a lot easier. Social media gives us access to a community we might otherwise be lacking  (vegan in steak country, anyone!?). We’re able to meet people who inspire us to push through and stick to our values. And if that’s not something to celebrate, we don’t know what is!

That’s why we’re honoring our thriving vegan and plant-based community by featuring awesome people who make the world a better place.

This week, we meet Sabrina Horel, a digital nomad who has spent the better part of the last two years on the road living the dream in her VW bus with her husband, Jimmy.

We asked Sabrina to tell us a bit more about her vegan journey and share some of her tips and tricks to eat vegan on the road.

You can follow Sabrina on Instagram or check out her personal website, to be in the loop on her next adventures.

Leave us your vegan story and your tips and tricks for new vegans in the comments below. We’d love to hear from you!

And check back in a few weeks for our next instalment of “Why I’m vegan.”
