Monster avocado toast

Everybody loves a good avocado toast! Make this meal especially spooky by turning your toast into a monster! Check out a quick and easy recipe that is especially fun for Halloween! 

Serves two

Ingredients:

  • One (or two) avocado – mashed
  • Two slices of sourdough bread (or other bread of choice)
  • Salt, pepper, and lemon juice
  • Olives
  • Four nori sheets
  • One cherry tomato
  1. Source fresh avocados and your favorite toast – we personally love toasted sourdough! 
  2. Remove the pit and in a separate bowl, and mash your avocado using a fork – add salt, pepper, and lemon as desired! 
  3. Evenly spread the avocado on your toast and add sliced black olives as eyeballs, half a cherry tomato for a mouth, and use nori sheets for hair, scars, or whatever else you want to make your monster avocado toast as eerie as it can be!

Bring a dreaded mummy to life by making your very own vegan mummy pizzas! These are sure to be a hit at any Halloween party.

Serves two

Ingredients:

  1. Warm your pizza sauce in a pot – hot then reduce to low once it simmers.
  2. Cut two English muffins in half and put on a pan.
  3. Spread your pizza sauce on the English muffins (about a spoonful on each).
  4. Cut your vegan sliced-style cheese into rectangular pieces to resemble a mummy’s wrap! 
  5. Layer your vegan cheese onto your English muffins and add the black olives for eyeballs.
  6. Cook until the cheese is melted – and your vegan mummy pizzas are complete!
