Located in the vegan heaven of Vegandale, Hello 123 is a cozy, exposed brick restaurant known for its Brunch Everyday menu. From smoothie bowls to hemp seed pancakes, you’ll have no shortage of yummy options to get your day started.
Copenhagen Cafe
Also located in Vegandale, this Copenhagen inspired cafe serves traditional Danish treats with a plant-based twist. Hello, biscuits and Danish waffles! Warning: your eyes may pop out of your head when you see the bakery case lined with vegan cakes.
Away Kitchen and Cafe – College Street
Oat milk lattes, natural light, and yummy bites (like frittatas and avo-toast) come together perfectly at the cozy Away Kitchen and Cafe. They also have other Away locations in town that serve plant-based pizzas and heartier food options if that’s calling your name.
Lunch Spots
by CHLOE
It’s not open just yet, but this fall by CHLOE is set to open its first location in Canada! Get ready for air baked sweet potato fries and yummy bowls loaded with veggies and tofu. Not to mention the adorable dining atmosphere that will make you want to become a regular before you even take a bite.
Fresh

Fresh is a veggie chain serving everything from bowls and salads to tacos and burgers. And if you’re thirsty, check out the Kombucha cocktails! We’re partial to the Fresh on Front location because the Dog Fountain (yes a fountain with pup sculptures) is across the street. So if it’s a nice day, get your Fresh order to go and enjoy the view.
Hogtown Vegan

The unchicken and waffles dish at Hogtown Vegan caught our eye, but the retro diner vibe will make you want to savor every bite. With tons of food that will transport your taste buds to the South (check out the Southern Combo), Hogtown Vegan will satisfy all of your salty, smoky cravings.

Selam Vegan
If you’ve ever wondered what vegan Ethiopian food tastes like, here’s your chance! Selam Vegan serves colorful, flavorful dips and injera (flatbread) along with a bunch of other delicious plant-based concoctions.

With an appetizer named “Wings are for Flying” we can’t help but love this vegan late-night diner. The menu has something for everyone and the wall art will make you want to take a picture every two seconds.
Vegandale Brewery

“Strong beer, stronger convictions” is the philosophy at Vegandale Brewery. Cheers to that! The only thing better than a good vegan brewery is one that serves good food. Vegandale serves all the classic pub food with a vegan spin like plant-based burgers and mac n’ cheese.
